BodyMind Unwind: Summer Edition

A Two Hour Restorative and Creative Sanctuary for Your Nervous System

Where nervous system healing meets creativity, embodiment, and deep listening.

When life feels overwhelming, rushed, or disconnected, your body often carries the burden.

BodyMind Unwind is an extended, individualized experience designed to help you slow down, listen deeply, and support your nervous system's natural capacity for regulation and healing.

Drawing from over 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist, dance/movement therapist, and biodynamic craniosacral practitioner, each session is thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs and intentions. Together, we create space for restoration, reflection, creative exploration, and reconnection with the wisdom of your body.

If you are feeling called to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and receive focused support for your nervous system and overall well-being, I invite you to begin the process.

This Experience May Be Beneficial If You Are:

  • Feeling stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally depleted
  • Recovering from burnout or chronic overextension
  • Navigating a major life transition or period of uncertainty
  • Feeling disconnected from yourself, your body, or your creativity
  • Seeking support for nervous system regulation and resilience
  • Longing for dedicated time to rest, reflect, and reconnect
  • Looking for a deeper, more immersive experience than a traditional therapy session can provide

Each two-hour session is customized and may include:

  • Somatic psychotherapy and nervous system-informed support
  • Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
  • Mindfulness and embodied awareness practices
  • Gentle movement and body-based exploration
  • Creative process through writing, drawing, imagery, or expressive inquiry
  • Nervous system regulation tools informed by the Rest & Restore Protocol™ (RRP)
  • Personalized recommendations for continued integration and self-care

Why This work Matters:

When your nervous system is dysregulated, everything feels harder - sleep, connection, creativity, decision-making. This isn’t a mindset issue. It’s a physiological state that can be gently rewired through body-based care.

Depending on your needs and interests, we may draw upon both verbal and non-verbal approaches, allowing insight, healing, and regulation to emerge through the body, imagination, and creative expression.

Work With Me

I’m Deniz Oktay, a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT), Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist (BC-DMT), and certified Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist (RCST). My work is rooted in nearly 20 years of clinical experience.

One thread has always guided my work: the power of presence, connection, and relationship.

Today, my private practice centers around body-based healing for sensitive, high-functioning individuals seeking regulation, renewal, and reconnection.

My approach blends:

  • Dance/Movement Therapy – using the body as a pathway to emotional expression and integration
  • Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy – a gentle, hands-on modality that supports nervous system regulation and deep inner stillness
  • Metaphysical Energy Medicine – intuitive attunement to the energetic and spiritual layers of healing
  • Rest & Restore Protocol (RRP) from Unyte – a sound-based therapeutic program supporting vagal tone and autonomic balance
  • As well as my ongoing 2-year study of Autonomics with Gabriel Kram, founder of Hearth Science and author of The Neurobiology of Connection

I don’t just offer these practices, I live them. I’m engaged in my own therapeutic work, receive regular craniosacral sessions, and use the RRP personally to regulate and restore my system.

You’ll be met with depth, attunement, and genuine care.
This is not a protocol, it’s a partnership.
And it’s designed to support you in remembering your body’s natural capacity for rhythm, clarity, and connection.

Let’s connect and help you come home to yourself.
