I am an out-of-network provider. You can check your OON benefits through the Reimbursify link. I do not bill insurance directly, but I provide detailed superbills — which many clients successfully use to seek partial reimbursement through their out-of-network mental health benefits.
I recommend contacting your insurer before we begin to understand your specific out-of-network coverage.
Payment is due at the time of service.
I ask for 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and missed sessions may be charged at the full rate.
We begin with what brought you here, not because you need to have it fully articulated, but because I want to understand where you are. I will listen, ask questions, and share a little about how I work. We will see together whether it feels like the right fit. There is no pressure and no commitment.
Most clients begin with weekly sessions, particularly at the start of the work. Fortnightly can also work well as we deepen. We find the rhythm that serves your process — not a fixed protocol, but something responsive to where you are.
I see clients in person at my studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn — 109 N. 12th Street. Virtual sessions are available throughout New York State. Some movement-based work can be done virtually, but Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy must be done in person.
This varies, and we discuss it as we go. Some clients come for a defined season — a few months of deep focus on a specific transition or pattern. Others find that an ongoing, evolving therapeutic relationship is what serves them. We check in regularly, and you always set the pace.
Yes — and this is one of my favourite configurations. If you have a therapist holding the cognitive and narrative dimensions of your work, I can go directly into the body. The two modalities work beautifully in parallel. I am happy to liaise with your existing therapist if that would be useful.
None at all. This work is not about skill or aesthetic. It is about authentic expression — and your body already knows exactly how to do that. Clients who have never danced in their lives find this work deeply accessible and often surprising.
